Pricing King is a module that allows pricing for labor, parts, services, fuel and storage sold to be configured and automatically established on Work Orders, Sales Orders and/or Folios. Pricing King consists of a collection of Pricing Profiles. A Pricing Profile defines sell prices for labor, parts, services, fuel or storage based on a single factor or a combination of factors. These factors include Customer Class, Part Class, specific customer, specific part, cost, Manufacturer’s discount, and date range. It allows pricing to be variable in that a sell price can be set to a fixed value, based on the list price or cost of the product or adjusted by a percentage or dollar amount. Pricing King permits a facility to be as general or as specific with their pricing schemes as they wish. It is conceivable to use the same part methodology for all sell prices or to break it down by condition, part number, or customer.

The Pricing Profile definition can be broken down into three components.
  1. For ‘Whom’ we’re calculating a sell price
(i.e. Customer Name, Customer Class, Special Pricing Program)

  2. For ‘What’ we’re calculating a sell price
(i.e. Product Type, Labor Dept, Part Number, Product Class, Manufacturer, Warehouse, Condition, Service Class, Fuel Lot, Fuel Type, Aircraft Storage Type, List Price Range, Quantity Range)

  3. ‘How’ we’re calculating the sell price
(i.e. Fixed Sell Price, List or Cost, Percentage, Dollar Amount, Manufacturer’s Discount Percentage)
